The Meade 2" Accessory Adapter converts the rear cell thread of the telescope to a female 2" slip-fit accessory holder, allowing use of 2" accessories such as 2" nosepiece diagonals and 2" eyepieces. Made of anodized aluminum, the adapter is compatible with all years and models of Meade Advanced Coma Free, Schmidt-Cassegrain, and LightSwitch telescopes as well as other models that utilize a Schmidt-Cassegrain rear cell thread.

The 2" Accessory Adapter also allows attachment of cameras to the rear of your compatible telescope via a 2" nosepiece or connector, for astrophotographic applications. Two large thumbscrews provide a secure grip on inserted diagonals or adapters.
