Chuck Reese and the Deep Sky Imager
Chuck Reese writes of his Deep Sky Imager and his 10" Meade LX200GPS:

"I love the new Meade Deep Sky Imager (DSI). It offers exceptional value - the software alone is worth the cost. The DSI has rekindled my interest in astronomy by opening a whole new universe of possibilities for my 10" LX200GPS. I originally bought my LX200 with the plan to someday try my hand at serious astrophotography. Thanks to Meade's new Deep Sky Imager, "someday" is finally here. I first saw the DSI as a relatively inexpensive and easy way to dip my toe into CCD astrophotography. I expected that if I liked the DSI, I would soon outgrow it and move up to a high-end CCD camera. However, after a few weeks of working with the DSI camera I know two things: I love CCD astrophotgraphy, and it will be years before the DSI becomes the limiting factor in my ability to create the caliber of images I want. My LX200GPS and DSI were made for each other - what a sweet combination!"
