Where To Buy?
The Meade Standard Field Tripod height is adjustable from 34" to 54", allowing for comfortable viewing from either standing or seated observing positions. It features super strong and exceptionally rigid chromed steel legs for excellent vibration damping, ideal when using your telescopes at high powers. Large leg locking thumbscrew allow for easy height adjustment, even in the cold when wearing gloves.
Connect an optional EQ wedge to convert your telescope into polar aligned mode.
Note: this tripod is not a standard photo tripod, and is only compatible with the LX90 models (8" – 12") and LX200 8" and 10" models. For the larger LX200 12" and 14" models, we suggest the Meade Giant Field Tripod (#7017). For 16" models, the Meade Super Giant Field Tripod (#7018) will be required.
