Meade Solar White-Light Herschel Wedge

Meade's Solar White-Light Herschel Wedge is proven to give a sharper, higher-contrast image than traditional metallized solar film or front-mounted glass solar filters, by eliminating reflections between the filter and front telescope lens. The result is a sharp, very high contrast view of Sun spots and solar surface granulation. Safely view and image the Sun using Meade's Solar White-Light Herschel Wedge. Easy attachment to your telescope in a 2", or 1.25" with included adapter, focuser. It is highly recommended to remove the viewfinder while using Meade's Solar White-Light Herschel Wedge to avoid any situation of looking into the viewfinder directly at the Sun. For use with REFRACTORS ONLY. Refractor must be 150mm or smaller. Not for use with SCT, ACF, MAK, or Reflectors.

CAUTION: Never look at the Sun, either directly or through a telescope, without a professionally made protective solar filter installed that completely covers the front of the instrument, or permanent eye damage could result.
