Review by:
I have had this telescope for 5 months now and can honestly say it's a great scope. The views are crisp and clear it's like looking at the sky in HD. It's very portable, easy to setup, and the EQ mount is very smooth. The tripod is a bit shakey but lets face it what low end tripod isn't. The eyepieces that come with it are modified acromatic lenses. The 26mm, 9mm are pretty good but the 6.3mm has very low eye relief and the barlow lense is a basic one element design. So with that said I would look into getting a better barlow. I also got a new eyepiece kit of plossls with a better barlow. The only down fall I had was the telescope was not fully collimated so for me being new to reflector telescopes this was a challenge for me and do recommend getting a cheshire eyepiece and a laser collimator. All-in-all I would recommend this for a starter scope for some one who knows about reflector telescopes. I am very happy with this scope. (Posted on 3/19/2017)
