Power up your Meade telescope and 12V accessories with this AC-to-12V DC 5A adapter. It plugs into any standard 110V AC household electrical outlet (North America style) and connects to the 12V 5.5mm O.D./2.5mm I.D. input jack on the telescope's control panel. It has a high maximum current output of 5 Amps, which is more than enough for use with any Meade telescopes and mounts.
The Meade 12V, 5A Power Adapter is compatible with Meade models including LS-6 and LS-8, LT models, ETX-125, all LXD-75 models, all LX90 models, all LX200GPS and current ACF models up to 16" aperture, all RCX400/LX400 models, and additional models that have a 12V "phono" type power input jack. The right-angle DC plug keeps the cable conveniently in a "low profile" posture on the control panel.
Note: This adapter is not designed for some older Meade telescopes that utilized 18v power.
