Coronado Adapter Ring for 90mm Double Stack Filter

Required to double stack an SME90 external primary Etalon, double stacking an original 90mm Coronado or Coronado II telescope such as an SMT90. Telescope and double stacking filter sold separately.

Reduces original .7 angstrom bandpass of the Hydrogen-Alpha telescope to .5 angstrom, dramatically increasing visibility of surface detail such as granularity and active regions on the surface of the Sun.

This adapter ring is required to double stack an SME90 external primary Etalon, double stacking an original 90mm Coronado or Coronado II telescope such as an SMT90. Telescope and double stacking filter sold separately.

Once double-stacked, the system reduces the original 0.7 angstrom bandpass of the Hydrogen-Alpha telescope to 0.5 angstrom, dramatically increasing visibility of surface detail such as granularity and active regions on the surface of the Sun.

Note, this adapter ring is only required to stack an additional etalon onto the original SM90. It is not required if you have a newer SME90 or SMIII system.

CAUTION: Never look at the Sun, either directly or through a telescope, without a professionally made protective solar filter installed that completely covers the front of the instrument, or permanent eye damage could result.
