The Meade Series 4000 Super Plössl eyepiece line offers precision engineered Meade optics, with a wide field, sharp image, and a very satisfying view at very reasonable cost.
Utilizing the very latest in optical glass types, the Series 4000 represents an excellent general-purpose eyepiece. Engineered with a high quality 4-element design and offering a generous 52° apparent field of view (44° for the 40mm), the eyepiece uses premium grade optical glass with multi-layer coatings and blackened lens edges for great image sharpness and contrast.
Features a precision made standard 1.25" barrel and fold down rubber eyeguard for comfortable viewing as well as blocking stray light. Parafocal with other eyepieces of the series to minimize the need to refocus when switching eyepieces.
The Meade Series 4000 eyepiece is a terrific value and the lowest cost way to expand your range of magnifications with genuine Meade quality optics.
